Patriot Front
The Patriot Front (PF) is designated as a white nationalist hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. It was formed after the deadly "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017. PF broke off from the neo-Nazi group, Vanguard America, which participated in the events of Charlottesville. Thomas Rousseau, PF's founder, was unhappy with the optics of Swastikas and other Nazi symbols present in Charlottesville and wanted to "rebrand" the group by couching its evil in an "Americana" theme. Make no mistake about it. The "rebranding" was cosmetic, not ideological. PF is a white nationalist group that calls for a white-oriented society only in America.
The Patriot Front, you will notice if you look closely at the photo, recasts the flag with the symbol of fascism (shown and explained on our home page) with the stars of the original colonies
